Mission and Student Support Group

The Missionary and Student Group has four broad aims with regard to mission:

  1. To increase missionary focus within our congregation and give a global perspective

  2. To see increase in both prayer and financial support for missionary and student work

  3. To encourage some to take up missionary or student service e.g. short term gap years, missionary enterprise or summer outreach activities at home or overseas

  4. To support our young people doing Christian outreach in the summertime both financially and prayerfully

These are the main groups supported, but not exclusively, by the Missionary and Student Group.

Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women at KPC is a fellowship of women of all ages and stages of life who meet together to grow in their faith through bible study, prayer, teaching and through growing in community together.

The PW meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 8.00pm. A variety of speakers come and speak on different topics.

New members always welcome.

Pastoral Support

We aim to provide a secure and welcoming environment, offering Christian love, affection, and support both spiritually and practically to the local community.

Pastoral care is provided informally by our church family in various contexts and groups throughout the week. We are committed to supporting you through life's changes and challenges, from joyful celebrations to times of grief, without judgment. Our minister and district elder are available for members to discuss concerns or receive prayer, while our Church Visitors Committee provides visitation to elderly and housebound members. Sunday morning services are recorded and streamed for those who cannot attend due to illness or other reasons.

Daleview Team

Daleview is a local nursing home in the heart of our community. We seek to provide an opportunity for the residents to experience church where they are.

The Daleview Team is a group of people who attend the Daleview Nursing Home in groups of four to lead worship every Sunday from 11 – 11:30am. They will read the bible, lead the residents in song, pray with and for them and sometimes have a short message from the Bible.

For many of the elderly one of the things they miss when in residential care is being able to attend their church. So we are taking church to them! This is an outreach not only to residents, but to staff and families as well.

If you read, pray, play an instrument or sing you are more than welcome to join the Daleview Team.

Every Sunday from 11 – 11:30am.
