What a blessing it was for Karen and me to be back home and in the company of so many from Kilfennan and from the Presbytery of Derry and Donegal. I know that all who were present in the Millennium Forum enjoyed the evening – and what a contribution from the Praise Band and from Trevor Morrow. The many brief chats over the cuppa afterwards added the icing to the cake.
After the busyness of our visit to the S Belfast Presbytery last week was a little less frenetic; on Wednesday I was able to attend Staff Prayers in the Assembly Buildings on on Thursday I was invited to conduct a Communion Service in the Slieve Donard, Newcastle at a Pre-Retirement Course for Ministers!
Last Sunday morning we found ourselves in Eglinton – no, not that one. But Eglinton Presbyterian Church in North Belfast to celebrate their 75th Anniversary.
