Last Sunday I enjoyed being back with Alvin Little in Shore St Donaghadee. There were two morning harvest services. The first was more quiet and traditional in that there were no children or children’s address and about 80 people present. The second service was full of life, full of children and bordered on the more “chaotic”. The church building was full to capacity with some waiting in the vestibule until the children left!
In the evening we travelled to Drumreagh – where is that? Somewhere West of Ballymoney, past the Joey Dunlop Memorial! The Rev Hugh Mullan is the minister and I enjoyed meeting him – Hugh was the year behind me at college and his wife Deidre. In April we will return for the opening of their new church building.
