Last Sunday past we began the day in Finvoy where we were pleased to meet up again with Rev Roy and Andrena Gaston. Roy used to be the minister of 2nd Castlederg. He is just recently back to work having had surgery on both his feet. Once again it was a service of harvest thanksgiving so we feel that we have well and truly brought in the harvest in October.
We then travelled to Ballycarry to be with the Rev Gabrielle Farquhar and the congregation. They have been celebrating 400 years of Presbyterian worship and are the oldest congregation within PCI. Taking part in their service was Diane Cusick who is currently on home leave from Malawi.
Then we had a brief half-term break before returning to Belfast to get ready for the coming weekend.
