It was good for us to be at home for part of last weekend. Saturday began with breakfast in the City Hotel and some 190 PW members from across the Presbytery. I was able to mention a few highlights from my year as Moderator while Karen took the lion’s share of reporting about our trip to Rwanda.
On Sunday we started with the Sunday School and Bible Class of Glendermott before conducting and preaching at their morning service. This was followed by lunch in the church hall. As you can imagine, we were made to feel very much at home and welcome – not least by John Hanna who along with Philip McKelvey is one of my Chaplains for the years.
